The art of perfect order

Augsburg, June 2009 – KUKA palletizing robots are stacking specialists and masters of organization – to demonstrate their palletizing competence, KR 700 PA will initiate us in the “art of perfect order” on behalf of his colleagues.

The campaign

The designer André Rösler has created an abstract painting especially for the market launch of the three new palletizing robots KR 300 PA, KR 470 PA and KR 700 PA. The KR 700 PA palletizing robot creates order in the picture. The work of art with the title "The Elements of Growth" depicts the most important branches of industry in which palletizers are used – in the form of a collage-like allegory. Each individual component of the picture represents a target industry for palletizing robots. The logistics sector is hinted at, as are the food, stone, wood and building materials industries.

The painting itself, a multicolored linoleum print on canvas, has been executed in the core colors of KUKA Roboter GmbH: orange, black and white.

In no time at all, the KR 700 PA breaks the work of art down into its constituent parts. It effortlessly creates order, shying away from neither image nor text elements.

KUKA is consciously playing here with the dual meaning of the word "art": on the one hand, it refers to a real work of art which the palletizing robot gets to grips with. On the other hand, the KUKA robots demonstrate that they have total mastery of the art of palletizing, the "art of perfect order".

With the campaign "The art of perfect order", KUKA Roboter GmbH is showing what palletizing is all about: bringing about the transition from chaos to order with a wide range of different products. KUKA palletizing robots can be used entirely flexibly, in any branch of industry. The only limit to their range of potential applications is the imagination of the user.
